It’s rare for West Virginia to recruit California players, but Allen Blaylock is one prospect the WVU football staff couldn’t resist offering. Sunday night, Blaylock, a four-star wide receiver in the 2026 class, revealed an offer from the Mountaineers on X (Twitter).
Listed at 5-foot-11 and 170 pounds, Blaylock is ranked as one of the top 100 wide receivers and top 50 California prospects by multiple major recruiting outlets. Blaylock attends Bishop Academy in Palmdale, Ca.

After already receiving three stars from On3 Sports and 247 Sports, Blaylock earned a four-star rating from Rivals on March 19. While most view Blaylock as a college wide receiver, others do see him as a versatile outlet.
ALL GLORY TO GOD! Truly thankful and blessed to be ranked a 4 by @Rivals being the 25th WR in the nation and 8th WR in California! @adamgorney @coach_o_sports @CoachTroop3 @BonneFTBL pic.twitter.com/gkiYl514JL

Connecticut is the further east program to offer the California kid.
